Rutland and Melton's Liberal Democrat Candidate, Dr Carol Weaver met constituents at The Whipper Inn, Oakham on Saturday 16
thNovember to discuss the Liberal Democrats' plans for the future:
✔ Remain in Europe and invest the £50 billion Remain Bonus in public services
✔ Tackle the climate emergency and support greener industry
✔ Give every child the best start in life by recruiting 20,000 more teachers as part of an extra £10 billion a year for schools.
✔ Build a fairer economy by providing free childcare from 9 months and giving every adult £10,000 to spend on skills & training throughout their lives.
✔ Transform our local health services
Dr Carol Weaver, a former university lecturer in European security, promises locals that she will be a hard-working, accessible and trustworthy constituency MP. She thinks it's important for political parties to work together for the good of the country and society.
Carol knows the constituency well, having lived in both Rutland and Leicestershire. She is passionate about helping:
