Somerfield building could become Arts & Community Centre

Fay Howison, president of the local Liberal Democrats has suggested that the Somerfield building could become an Arts & Community Centre for Oakham. Peter Beanfield, the Liberal Democrat committee chairman, is in agreement.

Somerfield is set to close on April 29th. The building on Westgate stands on land owned by Rutland County Council and would be a perfect site for an arts & community centre.
